TOYS FOR TOTS TOY DRIVE (Now updated with pictures!!)

S.F.F.D. Local 798 and the I.L.W.U. Local 10 will be hosting a toy drive for Toys for Tots on Tuesday, December 23, at 6am. This event will take place at 400 N. Point St. in San Francisco.

All the toys will go to Toys for Tots.

FUEL FUMES SICKEN OAKLAND PORT WORKERS

September 6, 2007
Thirteen workers were sickened by fuel fumes this morning at the Port of Oakland and were taken to local hospitals, according to the Oakland fire department.

The workers on a Maersk ship named "Buffalo" and on a dock were suffering from stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea, said fire Capt. Melinda Drayton. The fire department got the call about the incident about 9:30 a.m.
